| Jay
Bocook Jay Bocook is the Director of Bands at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, and is the former Director of Band Publications for Jenson Music in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is nationally known as a composer/arranger of music for marching, concert, and jazz bands. He was the arranger for the world champion drum and bugle corp "Bergen County Cadets" of New Jersey, and is an exclusive composer/arranger for Hal Leonard Corporation. He will be returning for his 19th year as the guest band clinician for the McDaniel College Summer Music Camp. |

| Bryan
Eber In fifteen years with the McDaniel College Summer Band Camp, Bryan Eber has taught low brass lessons, theory classes, and beginning conducting classes. This summer marks the forth year for Bryan as the director of the Green Band. Bryan has taught music education for 17 years in Carroll and Howard Counties including four years at Mt. Airy Middle School, eight years at Liberty High School, and four years at Bushy Park and Lisbon Elementary Schools. He received a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Music Education from Towson State University, and he has earned a Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Loyola College. His wife, Marybeth, teaches flute, theory, and beginning instruments at the camp, and his children, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Andrew, love band camp and look forward to attending every year! |

Staff The Summer Music Camp staff will include Linda Kirkpatrick, Robin Armstrong, David Duree, Steven (Bo) Eckard, Don Horneff and Jon Seligman, faculty members at McDaniel College; Brian Frazier, instrumental music director at Franklin High School, Baltimore County; Bryan Eber, instrumental music teacher in Howard County; Marybeth Eber, instrumental music teacher in the Howard County Public School System; Michael Hirsh, instrumental music director at North Carroll Middle School; George Smith III, instrumental music teacher in Carroll County elementary schools; Jeff Hiner, instrumental music teacher in Carroll County elementary schools. Your time outside class will be supervised by a fine staff of counselors who are either college students or graduates with experience in the arts and music. |
